I'd spread 3-4 inches of compost over the top of the soil and work it in to a depth of 8-10 inches. As the compost or aged manure decomposes it will release nutrients into the soil and the roots of your plants will have it readily available. Or, you can work a small amount of fertilizer such as 5-10-10 (organic or chemical) into the furrows prior to planting your seeds or transplants. Hope you have a great harvest!
