I want something with a little color, preferably a red/yellowish. I don't like anything large, maybe couple feet high at most. The area in front of my house gets partial sun (half the day or so), and is in an area the gets a lot of moisture. Whenever it rains there is always a lot of water around that area. I What type of options do I have/would you suggest?

How about ?Bollywood? Azalea with bright neon red-pink flowers? Vivid, glossy silver and dark green variegated foliage supplies the color the rest of the year. Very hardy, reaches 1 1/2 to 2? tall. Or, ?Golden Nugget,? Dwarf Japanese Barberry. This is a delightful dwarf that only grows 1? tall and around. Small bright gold foliage and red berries add a strong splash of color to any landscape. A final suggestion is 'Hint of Gold? Caryopteris. The bright gold foliage makes a small mound 2-3? tall. In late summer and fall periwinkle blue misty flowers appear, creating a wonderful contrast against the gold foliage. Enjoy your landscape!
