1st lawn mowing - Knowledgebase Question

I usually lower the blade and use the grass catcher for the 1st cut of the year. Do you agree?

Sounds like a good plan, providing you don't wait until the grass is really tall before your first mowing. You don't want to scalp the lawn but you do want to take off about a third of the height of the blades. Setting the blade low for the first cutting will assure that all of the grass is cut at the same level. Best wishes with your lawn!
