I have a pear tomato in garden potting soil. Why are the leaves curling? In pot for one month. |
Insect feeding on the undersides of the leaves can cause the leaves to curl so carefully inspect the leaves and hose off any aphids you find. If there are no insects, the leaf roll, or leaf curl, is a physiologic distortion that can develop in the springtime due to periods of cool, rainy weather. It causes the leaves to roll upward and become thick and leathery. Leaf roll does not affect plant growth or fruit production and requires no treatment. |
