Protection for my Garden - Knowledgebase Question

I live in wisconsin between madison and milwaukee and was wondering if i needed to put any cages or any other form of protection for the cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce,watermelon, bell peppers, carrots, and blueberries. Thanks!

If you're referring to frost protection, I'd say yes - at least have them on hand. If frost is predicted overnight you can cover your new plants. Be sure to remove the covers in the morning.
