live in Bronx, NY; when do we starting planting summer plants including annuals, tomoatoes, etc. thanks

I know it's difficult to wait, but your area can still get a few frosts this season and since tomatoes, etc. love warm temperatures, I'd strongly suggesting waiting until the first of May to set them outdoors. By then the air and soil temperatures will be warm enough to help them grow strong and grow quickly. In the meantime you can amend your planting beds with compost and get them ready for planting. Enjoy!
