| I bought an "ornamental sweet potato vine". It grew the largest potatoes I have ever seen. Can I eat them, or are they toxic? They give off a milky substance when they are cut. |
| You could eat these, but they aren't very tasty! Edible sweet potatoes have been bred for flavor....but not the ornamental varieties. I've heard they taste like "dirt". Let us know! |
