|Fraser photinia (Redtips) can be very susceptible to leaf spot which can kill the plants. This is a fungal disorder which enters the plant through young leaves. Prune off and destroy all affected leaves/branches. Pruning will encourage new growth towards the center of the plants, which will help make them look full and healthy. When the new red growth appears, spray with a fungicide. Apply per package directions until the foliage has matured. Be sure to spray ALL new leaves as they appear.
