Spring flowering bulbs are planted in the fall but summer and fall blooming corms, bulbs and rhizomes can be planted now. Freesia, gladiolus, cannas, dahlias, anemone, caladiums and Oriental lilies can all be planted in the spring for flowering in the summer and fall months.
