questions about vegetables/fruits - Knowledgebase Question

I have 3 questions:

1) Will tomato plants do well without the cage thing or cage thing is must.

2) Green and bell pepper plants also requires cage?

3) Cucumbers do well in pots or in grounds and will they also need cage to grow them straight?

You don't need to cage your plants - they can sprawl on the ground or you can grow determinate tomatoes which are bushy upright plants rather than sprawlers. Pepper plants grow upright without the need for a cage. Cucumbers can be planted in a pot and allowed to cascade down and onto the ground or you can put up a trellis for them to climb up.
