I just bought a plant called Juniper-Blue Star #1 at HD. Is this plant a sort of ground creeper? I am hoping it grows along the ground and not upwards. Please let me know...thank you.

You're in luck! Blue Star Juniper has a low growing, rounded, compact growth habit. It has very rich, silvery-blue needles year around and makes a good groundcover juniper.
