Brussels Sprouts grow best in rich, well-drained, fertile soil so amend the planting bed with plenty of compost prior to planting. They need steady, even moisture - hot, dry spells will stunt the sprout formation. Space plants 18-24 inches apart so they have ample room to grow. Provide all day sun or at least morning sunshine and filtered afternoon shade. Harvest the sprouts starting from the bottom of the stem when they reach 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Enjoy!
