how long should a gas power mower last?i get mine tuned every spring,but now one of the choke lines is broke and the mower is 7 years old.new one or not?thanks

I think 7 to 10 years is about all you can expect from a power mower. You can run it longer but eventually the repair bills will cost more than the mower is worth. Even with excellent care such as you've given yours, mowers do wear out. Unless you invested a fortune in it when you first purchased your mower, you may simply want to replace it. If you did invest a lot at purchase, it may justify having it repaired for another few years.
