Hi, I have many potted plants in my garden. I have been mulching them with cypress mulch and it helps them from drying out. Can I use shredded pine bark? Just wondering because of the odor.I didn't know if it would leach something into them that would harm them. Thank you so very much for taking my question.

Pine bark makes a fine mulch for most plants. The odor will dissapate once the bark is exposed to fresh air. It is as long-lived as cypress mulch and won't harm your plants.
