Hi. In NW Ohio. Planted 4 grape vines and 4 red raspberry bushes. Right now they look 8 sticks in the ground. I have been watering, and they are 3-4 weeks old. Are they growing, or dead? Thanks!!

Only time will tell. Grapes and raspberries grow best in warm weather. The sticks you planted are probably busy developing new roots. As soon as they do you will see some leaf buds beginning to swell and some new stems emerging from the soil. Just be patient with your new plants. When the soil and air temperatures suit them, they'll begin to grow - and vigorously enough to make up for lost time!
