Does Home Depot carry something called 'ceder tips' or something that sounds like it. They are basically branches that are cut from a tree and replanted. I live in Omaha but cant find them i this market.

Cedar tip cuttings will readily root in the ground but they're difficult to come by. One source you might explore is University of Nebraska's Forest Service. They have a program called ReTree Nebraska and should be able to help you find the cedar tip cuttings. Here's their website:
