There are black bugs on my tomato and bell pepper plants' stems and leaves. The leaves are drying. I sprayed the plants however after a while they came back and attacking my veggies. How often should I use the spray and do you have a spray that will get rid of them. I grow all my vegetables in 24 inch plastic pots. Until last year I had no problem.

If the pests are aphids, you'll have an on-going battle with them all summer long. Hose them off as soon as you see them, or use insecticidal soap to kill them. More will fly in so you'll need to monitor your plants on a daily basis and hose them off each time you see them.
