|Choose a container one size larger than it's in and make sure there are lots of drainage holes on the bottom of the pot. Moisten some potting soil and place an inch or two in the bottom, then unpot your majestic palm and set the rootmass into the new container. Add soil to the bottom if necessary to bring the plant up to the same soil level as it was growing before. Fill in around the sides with moistened potting soil, tamp everything down and then water thoroughly to help settle the soil and elminate any air pockets. That's all there is to it!
