I bought low light house plants, but the edges of the leaves are turning brown, are they not getting enough light or is it water.

Browning leaf tips can indicate overwatering or dry indoor air. Try watering thoroughly and then allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. You can stick your finger down into the soil to check the moisture. If the soil is dry past your first knuckle, it's time to water. If the soil is still moist, you won't need to water for another few days. Best wishes with your new houseplants.
