|I plant my tomato and pepper plants in very large containers. How can I prepare the soil for this year since my husband put large amounts of coffee grounds on top of the soil at the end of last season.

|Coffee grounds are a source of nitrogen and a great organic material to add to your soil. If you can dump the contents of the container out into a wheelbarrow you can mix it up well. Failing that, dig the coffee grounds and a little fresh compost into the existing soil in your containers. Hope you have a great harvest!
