Need privacy from 2-story house that looks into our pool area. Are there any type of bamboo that grows up to 15'-20' tall that I can be planted in ceramic pots that will be sunk 2/3 into the soil along a block wall fence with space varying 24

Bamboo roots are quite extensive so anything that will grow 15-20' tall will need a large container or planter box - something at least 3' deep. You may need to build planter boxes rather than plant in ceramic pots (the roots are so vigorous they will eventually crack ceramic pots). Build a long, 3' deep planter and line it with metal, leaving the drainage holes unblocked. Plant clumping bamboo rather than the running type. Some to consider include Green Hedge Bamboo (Bambusa multiplex Silverstripe), Dwarf Buddha Belly (Bambusa vulgaris Wamin), can grow 12-15 feet with 3" diameter canes, Graceful Bamboo (Bambusa textilis gracilis), which can grow 20-25 feet with 1?" diameter canes, Tropical Black Timber Bamboo (Bambusa Lako), can grow 30-45 feet with 2"-3" diameter canes, or Asian Lemon Timber bamboo (Bambusa eutuldoides viridi-vittata) which can grow to 25 feet with 1" diameter canes.
