planting crocus - Knowledgebase Question

I have just bought 8 crocus vernus rememberance. they are blooming and I was wondering can I plant them right away or do I have to wait til after the last frost. I live in Michigan. temps have been up and down cooling off to about 32 at nite.

If the crocus are blooming, I'd wait and plant them later. Transplanting now may stress the plants and the flowers may die. Crocus can take the cold weather so keep yours outdoors but either set the pots in the ground or place them in a protected area. Aboveground roots can suffer from cold damage! After they have finished blooming you can unpot them and plant them in your garden.
