I have some ivy plants that are four or five years old,they have grown really long.Is it alright to cut them back a little?Thanks,Tony.

Absolutely! In fact, if you cut them back they will branch out and develop lots of new stems. I regularly pinch mine back to promote a bushy plant with lots of stems. Enjoy!
