Will a hand full over the soil work as a fertilizer in my large container filled with mir. grow soil and top soil mixture with my newly planted azalea bush? Thanks, Dee

You can use a total of about two tablespoons of Epsom salts (Magnesium sulfate) in the container. It will help your azalea grow and bloom. Don't over-apply, though. Best wishes with your azalea.
