I want to know if I should use epson salt as a fertilizer on my gardenia bush that I have in a large fiberglass container filled with Mir. Grow soil and top soil mixture?

You can use a total of about two tablespoons of Epsom salts (Magnesium sulfate) in the container. It will help your gardenia grow and bloom. Don't over-apply, though. Best wishes with your gardenia.
