One side of my lawn is shared with a neighbor that doesn't take care of her lawn so I want to know what can I do to create a barrier that will allow me to protect my side of the lawn. Any suggestion. |
You can dig the area along the property line and make a flower bed to separate the lawns. Of course you'll need to place a barrier on both sides of the bed to keep the grass from encroaching from either side. You can use wooden bender board or plastic or metal edging, or you can set a row of bricks or concrete blocks along the property line. Or, you can dig a shallow trench that's about 6" wide and pour a cement barrier. Whatever you decide to use, keep the finished height 2-3" higher than the grass so you can use a weed whacker to keep down the grass (on both sides!) Best wishes with your project! |
