Robellini Palms - Knowledgebase Question

My Robellini Palms were transplanted about a year ago and seemed to be doing alright. They are in the front; I noticed they have many dead fronds and many are yellowing. I fed them in January with a food specifically for plams. Other Robellinis in the neighborhood look great. What could my problem be?

Even though you've fertilized your palms your alkaline soil may be making the nutrients unavailable to your palm trees roots. An application of Ironite will help. Apply in amounts as recommended on the label (according to the size of your palms). I'd prune off the dead and yellowing fronds to improve their appearance. Pay careful attention to watering - overwatering can turn the fronds yellow.
