Our house is on a corner lot. Can you recommend fast growing shrubs, bushes, trees, etc. for a barrier between our yard and the street?

Some fast growing, trouble free, flowering shrubs include Clethra alnifolia (sweet pepperbush); Cornus alba (Tatarian dogwood); Cornus mas (Corneliancherry dogwood); Forsythia x intermedia (border forsythia); Hydrangea arborescens (smooth hydrangea), and Viburnum plicatum var. tomentosum (doublefile viburnum). Evergreens include Ilex cornuta (Chinese holly), Juniperus chinensis (Chinese juniper), Juniperus conferta (shore juniper), Mahonia bealei (leatherleaf mahonia), and Cherrylaurel. Hope this short list is helpful.
