I have aphids covering my snail vines. In the past I have sprayed the vines with water at high pressure. If that produced no results I would then use Triazicide. But after doind so, the vines looked sad, and take a long time to recover. Is this the best solution? Is that because of the damage already done from the aphids, or is it from the pesticide? Any input?

Snail vine leaves are sensitive to chemical sprays so that's probably what happened to your plants. I use Insecticidal soap on my snail vine. It kills the aphids on contact and doesn't hurt the plant. Of course it's an ongoing battle because aphids fly in from everywhere!
