I'm tempted to say ground, ground, ground, ground and no. Here's why. All of the plants you mention will need lots of room for root growth so unless you plant each in its own 3 gallon container, they will compete with one another for moisture and nutrients. All except the eggplant will either sprawl on the ground or need a fence or trellis on which to climb. I'd put up a trellis or at least cage for the okra and cucumbers so they can grow upwards and keep the fruit clean. The watermelons can sprawl on the ground. You can plant them all in the same garden bed but you'll need to space the plants far apart when you plant them so each has plenty of room to grow. Best wishes with your garden.
