In your region you can plant any of the cool-season crops for harvest in December through early spring. Lettuce should be planted now, but cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, radishes and scallions can be planted within the next 8 weeks. You can also plant peas, chard, and turnips. Don't plant warm season crops like corn, tomatoes and peppers until next spring when the soil and air temperatures warm up a bit. Enjoy your winter garden!
