Place each tuber hollow side up just below the soil level. The tuber should have no more than half an inch of light soil covering it. (They rot easily if planted too deep.) You'll need to dig and store the tubers each fall for replanting. They need to completely dry out during storage so leaving them in the ground is not an option. They're beautiful, though, and worth the trouble of digging and storing each year. Enjoy!
