Red dogwood tree - Knowledgebase Question

I planted a red dog on 3/1/10 everything was going good then it got cold one nite around 41 ever since then the leaves have been wilted is the tree going to die?

I don't think it will die but I do think that it was shocked by the cool temperatures. Along with that, it is trying to establish its root system since you've only recently planted it. Just give it time to adjust to its new spot in the garden and it will perk up. The wilting leaves may fall off but you should see new growth in a few weeks. Water it deeply once or twice a week to help the roots become well established. Good luck with your red twig dogwood!
