Do rabbits eat sunflower plant when small? I start a few from seed and they are about 9-10

Rabbits usually won't bother sunflowers because the leaves are hairy, but your mileage may vary. I'd place protective cages over the seedlings until the stems grow strong and sturdy. I just make cylinders out of chicken wire (about 2' high) and place them over my sunflower plants. Best wishes with your sunflowers!
