Purchased Hydrangea and the leaves are curling and turning brown. All flowers shriveled and browned immediately when put in. Seems to be mostly the lower leaves, some have irregular cuts in them.

If you've recently planted your hydrangea it's probably going through a little transplant shock. As soon as the roots become established, the plant will perk up. You'll need to water once or twice a week (depending upon weather). Hydrangeas grow best in morning sun but afternoon shade so make sure yours isn't getting sunburned by afternoon sun. The tattered leaves can be due to wind or to damage in transit. Just give your hydrangea a little more time and I'm sure it will adjust to its its new home in your landscape.
