I'm not sure you can purchase seeds for Boston Ivy, but you can purchase a flat of plants and set each plant about one foot apart. You can plant them closer and they will fill in faster, but ivy is reasonably fast growing and will fill in if you plant them 12 inches apart. There are generally about 30-32 plants in a full flat.
