I live in south Florida. I would like to plant some ground cover and low gowing plants around the pool. Something that is low maintenance and can grow in hot sun light most of the day. Thanks

Bugle weed (Ajuga reptans) is a low growing ground cover - except for a few weeks in the spring when it sends up spikes of lavender/blue flowers; Cape-weed, lippia matchweed (Phyla nodiflora) grows about 3" tall; Dichondra is a non-flowering, low growing groundcover; Fig marigold (Glottiphyllum depressum) grows about 6" tall; Creeping Thyme is extremely low growing and tolerant of hot summer sunshine. Hope one of these suggestions works in your landscape.
