| I got Gardenia 2 days back and to help it acclimitised placed it indoors (65 F). Today i noticed the ends of branches with buds are drooping almost rubber like. I didnt want to repot it since there are many buds.What should i do to prevent loosing the plant and buds? |
| If the tips of the branches are drooping, the plant needs water. You can set the pot in a larger container of water and let it sit for about 15 minutes to completely saturate the soil and drive out any air pocket. Then take it out and let it drain. You'll need to water your gardenia every few days to make sure the soil stays moist but not soggy wet. It should perk up within a few hours of being watered. |
