|Echinacea plants will remain true to their parentage. They won't change colors. However, it is possible for the seeds of your plants to develop into plants of a different color due to cross pollination. Your best defense against this is to routinely deadhead the spent flowers so no seeds will develop and fall to the ground. This way you will have your original plants without the chance of an interloper.
