My tree does not bloom as much as others in my neiborhood. Any ideas?

In general, trees produce more flowers as they mature so if your pear tree is the same size as the others in the neighborhood, it should produce as well as the others. If it is not, there might be a difference in how the trees are watered or fed or it might be that yours is in a micro-climate all its own - maybe exposed to more winter cold or summer heat than the others? If so, these elements can affect flowering. Check, also, for insect problems in your tree. It might be that your tree's health is being compromised by weather, cultural care or insect pests. Sorry I can't positively diagnose the problem but without seeing the tree, it's nearly impossible! I hope this information is helpful and you're able to determine just what might be going on with your tree.
