I have an indoor orchid that recently had the blooms fall off of it. I read online that after this happens, I need to cut the orchid back so that it reblooms in 6 months. How much do I cut it?

Cymbidium flowers grow in sprays, with spikes arising from new pseudobulbs every season. When the flowers are spent you simply prune off the old flower stalk as low down on the plant as you can. Hope this is descriptive enough!
