We have a banister that is filled with philodendron. I am in the process of pruning them back b/c the vines are getting too long and leaves are thinning. However, some leaves are coming in completly white. I know some leaves will have more white then others, but do we need to worry about the pure white leaves?

The amount of coloration on your plant is genetic, but it is also controlled by the amount of light the plant receives. The more light, the brighter (whiter) the color. There's nothing to worry about. If you don't like the white leaves, pull or cut them off the plant. Chances are the next leaves it develops will be a different color.
