Creeping myrtle is also called periwinkle. It is a broadleaf vining plant and you can dig or pull it up, roots and all to get rid of it. There are some broadleaf weed killers that you can apply but they may harm other plants in the vicinity. Digging or pulling the periwinkle up is the safest and best solution.
