|Why are my hibiscus plant leaves turning yellow and then falling off

|:Hibiscus drops its oldest leaves throughout the growing season. These are toward the inner portion of the plant and the new growth remains green. If this is what's happening, it is perfectly normal. If the newer growth is yellowing it is a sign of under or over-watering. The soil should be kept evenly moist but never sopping wet and never allowed to dry out completely.
