|Annabelle hydrangeas flower on the new growth of the season. In some climates they die all the way down to ground level in the winter but they develop healthy new stems and lots of flowers the following spring and summer. You can prune yours down by half, or even down to the ground (depending upon the size of your plant). Now's the best time to prune. Enjoy!
