Are there plants or vegetables that willl grow in a yard that is almost constantly wet?

Not many plants will thrive in soggy soils but some will tolerate it. Why not install a curtain drain to redirect the excess water? If that's not an option, here are a few plants that will tolerate soggy soils:
Japanese iris, Joe-Pye weed, Marsh marigold, Mint, Monkshood, New England aster, Pentas, Perennial hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos), Siberian iris, Spiderwort, Swamp Hibiscus (Hibiscus coccineus), Swamp milkweed, Swamp sunflower( Helianthus angustifolium), Sweet flag and Yellow flag Iris. Hope this list is helpful.
