My garden hose starteted leaking. I jointed the pipe three times with nipple and clamps of different types but water leak does not completely. Can you guide what to do. |
It doesn't sound as though you are putting the pieces of the hose back together quite right. You can purchase a hose repair kit that comes complete with the connectors you need (check the size of your hose to make sure you're getting the right one). I generally cut the hose an inch or two on either side of the leak just to make sure I have undamaged hose to work with. Then soak the cut ends in hot, soapy water. The hot water will expand and soften the hose, making it easy to slip the repair fitting inside the hose. Once you've installed the fitting, clamp the connectors on either side and screw them into place. That should take care of the leak! |
