|I have 10 pygmy date palm trees in my yard. I live in Houston. I planted them last year and during the freeze I covered them. It's April and they don't look like they are coming back to life. How can I tell? Do I need to cute off all the branches? Thanks!

|Only time will tell whether or not you pygmy date palms will recover from the cold weather. You can prune away any brown fronds. With any luck you'll see new growth within the next 3-4 weeks. Hope so!
