Is it too early to plant corn on the cob?

It's still a little early in the year to plant sweet corn. Sweet corn requires warm soil for germination (above 55?F for standard sweet corn varieties) so wait until about a week after your average last frost date to plant your corn. On average, the last frost date is about April 22 so you should be able to safely plant the first week of May. Enjoy your corn!
