This month (April) you can plant cool season vegetables (leafy greens, radishes, carrots) and next month (May) you can plant warm season veggies (tomatoes, peppers, corn, etc.) Most vegetable plants will be happy with about an inch of water per week. When you water, water thoroughly and apply the water slowly so it has a chance to trickle down and wet the entire root mass. In the heat of summer you may need to water twice a week. In the spring and fall, only once a week. To check the soil, stick your finger down near one of the plants. If the soil is still moist one inch below the soil surface, you won't need to water for a few more days; if it's dry, it's time to water. Hope you have a great harvest!
